Sorry it's been a while since i wrote my last entry. There hasn't been much to write about lately. All I have to say today is HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you all have a great year and enjoy the rest of the school holidays

Nothing to Do

Hey guys, today I realised it's been a while since I have written an entry so I though I'd try pull something together. About two weeks ago I started reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix because I have wanted to read it since it came out, but mum has been reading it since it came out. Now I've been trying to squeeze in a bit of reading everywhere can because now the movie is out on DVD I really want to see it. That has been the one thing bugging me this week. Also, lately I have been discovering my love for old music from the 60's and 70's. Now instead of downloading music that has recently been making the charts, I find myself downloading a lot of songs from artists such as the Bee Gees.

More About School

Today I have nothing much to write about so I'm gunna bore all of you and talk a bit more about school. Just yesterday I received a letter in the mail about a new program they're running at school next year which I have been recommended to participate in. In this program, I pretty much skip year ten and start doing three of my six senior subjects leaving me with three spare slots on my timetable. I decided to take this chance so I can do a traineeship in year eleven and twelve so I don't miss too much. This is the sort of stuff that shows I can be a bit nerdy sometimes.

Homework and Assignments

Lately I have been struggling with the amount of homework and assignments I've been receiving lately. Last term, I received an assignment for SOSE which, I think, counts for half of my marks for the semester. I went in a pair with a buddy of mine working on a country of our choice. We chose to do a joint presentation on Korea. Anyway I wont bore you anymore and cut to the chase. With only a few days left, I was left with the task of finishing them off at home. The night before the assignment was due, I was in a state of panic because I wasn't confident I had done it right. Well we presented our oral which was supposed to be 10 minutes. Ours was a little over at 20 minutes and yet to be completed.

My Protest

Another issue at school lately is between two of my best friends. These two girls are the nicest people, the kind of friends anyone would kill for. Well lately there has been a lot of tension between the two of them, which is very strange because they get along sooooooooo well. Recently I was told that the two of them had had a bit of an arguement (no, the double had wasn't a mistake). I don't know the full story yet, but it has been annoying me so much that I've decided to protest against them fighting. Now at lunch, I don't sit with either of them, unless it's unavoidable. This is going to continue untill they stop fighting and they're friends again, they way everyone likes it.

School Life

School lately has been a bit of a pain, but hey, whats new. At the start of each semester, two people are elected to collect the class role from the office, which is the worst part about school. Well, it just so happens that my best friend in my class and I were chosen to do this awful job. Well we have been doing it for a term now, and we had been talking about quitting and telling the teacher to chose someone else to do it. Well we did this, and of course we still have to do it, but we didn't go down without a fight. We argued so much to the point that my up herself teacher made my friend start crying. See, she had to do this all year last year, so I can only imagine how strongly she must feel about it. Anyway, next story. Another one of my best friends had her braces taken off yesterday. Normally everyone would have been over the moon about it, but the problem was I was the only one she told. I was over the moon about it, the only thing was that I had to be over the moon about when I was alone. But now shes got them off and she looks fantastic!!!

The Bordom Bug

In the last few weeks there has a thing going around which I like to call the bordom bug. Now, this bug is very similar to three-thirty-itis, although the symptoms aren't anywhere near as bad. The main difference is that the bordom bug can strike at any time, while your doing any activity. I think I have come down with this awful bug. Because I am a quiet person, I do a lot of talking over text or on msn. Well, lately I have been having conversations with people who I usually really enjoy talking to, but find myself complaining because I'm bored (yes, I winge a lot too). However, I think the bug has finally passed, although I do occasionly get a mild dose of it. In fact I think I'm suffering a bit now so I think I'll write a bit about about school life.
